and a suitable number of times to recite a short mantra. The extra bead, which is

  6. How will you identify the number of mukhi in a rudraksha?
All natural rudraksha is having vertical lines or cut from the top to the bottom, in
addition to a natural hole in the middle. You just count those vertical lines for
example for a 5 mukhi rudraksha there are 5 vertical lines from the top to bottom.
  7.  Is it that all mukhis are derived from a same single trees?                                    Yes A single Rudraksha tree bears beads in all different faces or mukhis at the
same time. Obtaining some mukhis or faces is very rare. Most common Rudraksha
    bead is the five faceted.

  8.

What is the probability or chance of getting different mukhis?                                It is said that more than 80% of the rudraksham from a tree is 5 faceted. There is a 15% chance of getting 4 mukhis and 6 mukhis. Therefore the chance of getting other than 5, 4, and 6 is only 5 % from a tree. I have experienced this from my own tree. So that, I am dealing mostly with 5 mukhis and little 4 and 6 mukhis.

  9. How will you identify whether a rudraksha bead is original or not?
X ray is the only conclusive test to identify an original rudraksham. It is the only test where you can know whether it is fake or manipulated. A real rudraksham has the same amount of compartments as the mukhis and each compartment has a seed on it. An X ray therefore helps to find out the number of compartments in the bead. Similarly, If we cut the rudraksha bead, we can see the number of compartments. For example the following photo depicts that this rudraksha is a 5 mukhi rudraksha having 5 compartments around the natural hole at the centre.

    given situation after wearing Rudraksha?

(b)It can be said that for physical disorders a minimum time of 20 days is required to feel and experience the change, and for reducing level of anxiety or stress about 40 days are optimum. For change of luck and removal of obstacles one needs to constantly wear a Rudraksha, for 60 days to notice its positive effects. Anxiety and fear is diminished and effects of evil eye, jealousy and black magic almost disappear immediately.

(c)The above time frame is just approximate and varies from person to person and
